“Terrific customer service and care. I hit some scrap metal on I65 yesterday driving a rental truck. The metal was then thrown under my wifes car behind me. The truck tire was damaged and my wifes car had the fuel line cut and ripped off. The local fire department was dispatched for the fuel leak cleanup. They understood the drama that Statefarms roadside service was causing me and offered the suggestion of the local tow in and repair company. Finally Statefarm failed to help and the Alvey's was called out for th tow. Not only were they there immediately they took my wife and her car while I followed with the rental truck. Once at the shop the owner and his crew went to work repairing both vehicles and getting us safely back on the road. Great fire department staff, great Towng and repair shop, I could not have a better response and help anywhere. We consider ourselves lucky that the damages were only to property and that it happened 5 minutes from the exit where these great people work and serve their communities and travelers. I went from an angry man fighting with my so called insurance company to a calm person receiving the best service I have seen in years. Now to see if Statefarm roadside service actually steps up and covers their bill for towing. Long story I know. But it has been that kind of year already, and then BOOM. Someone makes everything better. Large THANK YOU to the Fire Department that responded and calmed the situation and to Alvey's Towing and Service for a great job.”

“Last thursday (7-9-26) I set out to pick up one of my veteran brothers from TN so we could shoot up to Maryland for our fallen brother's (Sgt. Michael W. Heede 05/06/1987-07/13/2009 KIA OEF USMC) annual memorial poker run that his amazing mother has kept going for 17 years and also a trip to Arlington National Cemetery to pay our respects, and support his mother so shes not alone. Well about 60 or so miles into the trip, my alternator decided to give out, testing my resolve for sure. After calling a handful of shops, I came close to Uber ing to the airport or giving up, and ill die before I quit. Decided to try one last shop and with it being a semi shop, I wasnt hopeful. Well, within 30 minutes Alveys had a tow at my location and my truck loaded and strapped in. Once at the shop my part was ordered, bad one off, new one on, and had me back on the road within the hour! We safely and successfully arrived in Maryland friday morning greeted by our other brothers. Without those gentlemen coming to my rescue, im not sure if I could've made it. So fellas, my brothers and myself sincerely and truly thank you for your part in getting me there safely. Thank for your expedient and efficient repair, also for reminding us that good people still roam these lands.”
