“Libby’s Auto and Tow saved the day for me and my family, while being incredibly thoughtful and kind on top of that. The tow truck driver Carter who came to our aid was literally an angel on wheels. I was traveling alone with my 2 young children from Alabama back home to Michigan, when I got a flat tire. I was traveling on I-65, I was able to make it to the exit where the Tennessee Travel Stop is and pulled in to call AAA. While I was waiting for AAA my husband (who was in MI) called around to see if anyone had my size of tire in stock. It was a Sunday and I only had a temporary spare tire that I did not feel comfortable driving on all the way back to MI. My husband told me to call Libby’s and give them my tire size, because he spoke with Libby and she needed to know what size of tire I needed. I spoke to Ben and they didn’t have it in stock, but offered to call around and find one. I said I would call them back. I wanted to figure out a few things. Ben said ok, and took my information. I called around to a few places to see if I could find my tire. While I was doing that Ben called me back to see if I was ok and if I wanted them to send their wrecker driver to tow me anywhere. I asked if they could just come help me put the spare on, since AAA still had me waiting, with no end in sight. I would then try to get back to my sister’s house with the spare, (Huntsville) and wait to find a new tire in the morning. (Every place I called did not have my size tire in stock). And most places were closed since it was a Sunday at 5pm. Ben said their wrecker driver was on a call but as soon as he got back they would send him over to me. He arrived about an hour later and changed my tire putting the spare on. I asked him if he could give me a receipt so I could make a claim to AAA since they didn’t work with AAA. He said “pretend I was never here”. He wouldn’t take my money when I tried to give him a “tip” for his kindness and generosity. He said “I believe when you put good ou”

“I broke down over 70 miles from home, in Cornersville. I called at least 6 different towing companies, some from here, some from my home town, to find the most affordable option. Only one company from my home town came close to the quote Libby's gave me, the rest were significantly more expensive. But the one from home gave me attitude, so I chose Libby's. I'm glad I did. Everyone I interacted with from this company was very kind. This makes a huge difference to someone in a stressful situation such as mine. That's what got them the gig. The driver was quick and efficient with loading and unloading my car, and we had great conversations on the ride to my home. I'm terrible at remembering names, but if I find out who it was, I'll happily edit this to credit who helped me out. Also, he didn't have to do this at all, but he even asked about my car troubles while on the ride back, and took a look at my car to give another opinion on the issue. Turns out, after diagnosing the issue myself, I believe he was pretty much spot-on. He mentioned the possibility of it being related to my camshaft position sensor, which my scanner returned a code set by that very sensor. (P0011) But I believe the issue is a failing VVT Solenoid, which can cause the cam to over-advance, thus triggering that code. So, bravo! Great intuition! Did I mention, this all happened in the middle of the night on a Saturday? I guarantee anyone would rather be doing anything else at that time, but they were helping me and my car get home.
