“I was traveling back to New York on I-95 Northbound by Peterson Virgina. My Fiat started having electrical issues and eventually died at a Sunoco gas station. This was on a sunday afternoon. Stranded and helpless., My tow service was able to a local tow which turned out to be Mike from Mike's Auto and Truck repairs. Mike responded quickly and towed my Fiat back to his shop for diagnostic Monday morning. The next day Mike diagnoised issue as a failing alternator, Mike also discovered that my rear brake caliper was seized and needed replacement. Mike was able to send my video evidence of issues. I was sceptical that he was able to repair my vehicle due to parts avalabilty and such a un-common vehicle. Mike was super knowledgable and nice, he understood the predicament My wife and I were in. We had to rent a hotel room while Mike expedicted repairs. Mike was able to get my car up and running in a day and 1/2. I was truly expecting the worse. “A Long Overdue but Well-Deserved Review Last year, my brother borrowed my Suburban to drive from Maryland to Florida. While passing through Virginia, the transmission blew. In a scramble, he found Mike’s Auto and Truck Repair LLC through a quick Google search. Initially, I was skeptical about leaving my truck at a local repair shop instead of taking it to a Chevy dealer—but I’m so thankful he did. Although I never met Mike in person, he gained my trust from the very first phone call. He was quick to respond, incredibly knowledgeable, and had excellent phone etiquette. You could tell he genuinely cared about helping. Mike went above and beyond—he even called in a favor from his trusted transmission expert. He and his team worked tirelessly, sometimes staying as late as 10 PM, to completely rebuild the transmission. Amazingly, they had it ready for pickup just in time for my brother’s return trip from Florida. At one point, I asked Mike about doing some additional work I thought might be needed. He could’ve easily said yes and charged me for it—but instead, he gave me his honest opinion and said it wasn’t necessary at the time. That level of integrity is rare. I also want to note that he was almost $2000 cheaper than what I was quoted from shops here in Maryland. To this day, my Suburban is still running like it’s brand new. I’m beyond grateful for Mike and his team, and I can’t recommend them highly enough!”
