“This will be long, but if you care about the service you receive, it's worth the read. I am traveling alone with my young kids. My battery was dead, we had it jumped by AAA. They recommend we go to O'Reilly to have it charged and a recheck. The employee accidently touched the other battery post with the socket wrench, shocking them, and the wrench was then stuck between the two posts. The positive post caught small fire. The employees couldn't help, despite trying their best. The negative post did break off. Thankfully, the battery didn't explode, and the car didn't catch fire. After a couple hours of them trying to help, I decided I was just going to call my insurance company and go from there. Tow truck in route, we didn't have a hotel, and no rental car companies would pick me up. We had a week's worth of stuff in the car, but couldn't get to it because the back of the SUV wouldn't open and the seats couldn't move. (For obvious reasons) I couldn't get a rental car until it was towed, and couldn't book a hotel yet either. The logistics of trying to get it all figured out, the employee being hurt, my kids being in the car when it happened, what could've happened, and being 10 hours from anyone we knew was a bit overwhelming, and I started to cry. My tow driver showed up, and asked me why I was crying. I told him everything. (Poor guy). He said, "Don't you cry anymore. I'm gonna take care of you." Then he proceeded to fix my car, AT NO COST! He said, "If it were my wife, I would want someone to do the right thing. I love my job, and this is why I do it." I started to cry again, because the relief I felt was could not be measured. I'm so grateful God put the right people in my life today. Everyone was so kind. Interestingly enough, when we first needed a jump, the security officer gave me a paper with a business name and number written on it and said, "This is the only person I would trust to help you."
