“This is, hands-down, the towing company you need to call if you're reading reviews and trying to make an informed decision. Here's why: Our alternator decided to die in Bradenton, of all places on the Manatee River bridge, so we spent a HARROWING hour on the side of the interstate, trying to diagnose the issue and ultimately calling a tow truck. We were stuck standing on a narrow strip of concrete between the truck (in the breakdown lane) and the side of the bridge watching cars going at 70-80 mph, many of them veering into the breakdown lane (likely distracted by looking at the water or their phones) only to notice at the last minute that we were stalled there (with no electronics and no ability to put on hazard lights) then swerving back into their lane to avoid us, it was unnerving, to say the least. We called a tow truck, and, in short order after placing the call, an angel of a tow truck driver arrived - Scott, of Scott's Towing. Scott immediately ushered us to safety in his tow truck and had us handled and off the interstate in a matter of minutes. We coordinated a drop-off & next-day repairs with another really nice young man at a repair shop (Cameron at Tire Choice). Now, my husband can fix anything mechanical, and had we been near his wide array of tools, he could have done the work himself, but that's not how the story went. So, after depositing our car outside the repair shop, Scott spent another 45 minutes or so with us, loaning us what tools he had and helping us to determine if there was any quick fix that could be done. When we concluded it was the alternator and could not be fixed on the spot, Scott insisted on driving us to a hotel. He thoughtfully helped us to select a lovely and historic Hilton/Hampton Inn downtown and within walking distance of restaurants and other places we might need as we waited out the repair. His towing fee was SUPER reasonable, very fair, and though we tipped on the tow, Scott refused our offer of an additional tip fo”

“Scott's towing is absolutely fantastic the owner Scott is very pleasant to work with and willing to work with you.the operator jo jo was extremely pleasant, his first question was "is everybody ok" then he assured me that the car was going to be safe. He was trained by the best from Colin. Scott is very lucky to have these two employees working for him they are outstanding young gentlemen. I will never use another tow company other than Scott's towing. JoJo made a bad situation pleasant as much as he could. I have actually never had an operator so caring. I then called Scott's office and had a long conversation with him and he is willing to work with me above and beyond what he needed to do. I look forward to doing business with Scott's towing for the rest of my days. If I could give 10 Stars I would. I personally feel the bad reviews are from people that wanted him to break rules that are there to protect the car owner and his business. There is no secret this company abides by the rules and that's what we want whether they favor us or not and people need to respect that. And I feel that the rules were asked to be broken, they would not break the rules and they got bad reviews. When I called Scott he explained everything up front and was very honest and that's all we can ask for nothing was hidden. I look forward to dealing with Scott's towing in the future.”
